I am unable to upgrade my kernel Print

We use OpenVZ virtualization system for our service, which means, that we run a special modified Linux kernel, shared for multiple customer virtual servers.

Some of advantages of this type of kernel are:
  • We make sure your kernel is updated and has all of the security patches
  • Your virtual server's memory isn't used for running the Linux kernel, you get the full RAM just for your stuff
  • We tune the Linux kernel for the best performance.

So when you see, that the Linux kernel version is 2.6.32 - don't worry, it's based on the RHEL6 kernel and has all of the security fixes and performance enhancements.
